Why have we set up a goal?

As some of you may know. We have scheduled power outages in our country. 

It means that every day the power goes off for up to 12 hours+- throughout the day. 
This is because our country is in an energy crisis and can't provide power to everyone. 

To be honest, it has made it very hard for us to steam, do daily tasks, and have a consistent schedule. 

Because of winter, the power cuts may become worse, 
and for us to keep streaming and doing what we love,
we have to get backup power.
Thus we have created a goal of 2000$ to make this possible. 
Alongside this goal, we have created special rewards,  giveaways, and milestones to give back to the community as a Thank you. 

We know it's a big ask, but the power outages have a big impact on our stream and lives. 
No matter how big or small the donation is, Thank you so much in advance.

Why does South Africa get power outages (Loadshedding) ?

South Africa has experienced multiple periods of loadshedding as the country's demand for electricity exceeded its ability, notably Eskom's ability, to supply it.
During these periods the power is rationed between different electrical grid areas cross the country.
